Fingerprinting

All Athletic Directors, Coaches, volunteers and other adults or contractors in regular contact with children must be fingerprinted. Fingerprinting is mandatory for any adult in regular contact with children. No one may commence their duties associated with Catholic Charities CYO Athletics in any capacity until fingerprints have been completed and they have been cleared by Catholic Charities CYO Athletics. Anyone in violation of this policy may be suspended from the program.

Effective 5/8/2019, Catholic Charities CYO Athletics requires that all individuals be fingerprinted through Catholic Charities and operate in accordance with our volunteer policies. The Archdiocese school and parish fingerprint forms will NO LONGER be accepted. Coaches who have fingerprinted in past years with the Archdiocese forms will have a one year grace period to re-fingerprint using the Catholic Charities LiveScan form (ORI# A8889). The grace period ends 6/15/2020.

Fingerprinting can be at any Live Scan site. Please be sure to bring the Catholic Charities LiveScan form (download above) to your preferred site. To find a Live Scan site near you, please visit:

Please upload a copy of the completed form into your Team Sideline account; as well as, send a copy to the Athletic Director of your organization who will then send them by sport to CYO.
