CYO Athletics is not just about the final score…

It's about positive coaching, sportsmanship for children and their parents, learning to live together in a diverse community, maximizing talents, and fostering the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual strength in each of us. Catholic Charities’ mission is rooted in faith traditions of charity and justice. As an integral part of our organization, the Catholic Charities CYO Athletics program has three main objectives:

To provide as much participation as possible among all youth involved.

To develop the concept of community through team sports.

Catholic Charities CYO Athletics serves Marin, north coastal San Mateo, and San Francisco counties. We offer Soccer, Basketball, and Volleyball for both boys and girls as well as Co-Ed Baseball, Track & Field, and Cross Country. Additionally, we have a Physical Education program that we offer throughout the Archdiocese. Currently, we serve over 12,000 kids in 3 counties and continue to build leaders every day.

CYO Athletics is offering Boys Soccer to all the participating schools/programs for 3rd - 8th graders.

Saturday, September 6 - Regular Season Begins

Saturday, October 25 - Regular Season Ends*

Saturday, November 1 & Sunday, November 2 - Playoffs*

Saturday, November 8 & Sunday November 9 - Championships*

Saturday, November 8 or Sunday, November 9 - 8th grade Achievement Series

*San Francisco Recreation & Parks determines when fields are open or closed due to inclement weather. Rainouts may affect the conclusion of the regular season as well as the start and end dates of postseason play.

2025 Fall Cross Country Registration Open!

CYO Athletics is offering Cross Country to all the participating programs for 3rd - 8th graders.

All participants must be registered prior to Monday, September 15th, 2025, by 5:00 PM.

Sunday, October 5th: Invitational Meet at Westmoor High School

TBD (3rd - 5th Grade)

TBD (6th - 8th Grade)

Sunday, November 3rd: Competitive Meet at Crystal Springs Cross Country Course

12:30 - 2:00 PM (3rd - 5th Grade)

2:00 - 3:30 PM (6th - 8th Grade)

Both meets are open to all students.

$40 covers entry to both meets.
